Your Responsibilities

You build the bridge between cloud platforms and the on-premise world — in complex, often high-security environments.

Integrationsarchitektur & Netzanbindung

  • Design and setup of integration servers in client data centers to connect Atlassian Cloud to closed networks
  • Design of outbound-only architectures without incoming internet connections
  • Coordination with client network teams: firewalls, routing, VPN overlays, high-security infrastructure (SINA, NDB)
  • Sizing and operational concepts (VM, container, bare metal) with redundancy

E-Bonding & Ticket-Integration

  • E-bonding interfaces between client ITSM (ServiceNow, OTRS, Remedy) and JSM
  • Bidirectional ticket sync via REST APIs — incident, change, and problem management per ITIL V4
  • Integration across organizational boundaries: subsidiaries, external service providers, regional authorities
  • Gradual onboarding of additional endpoints in iterative project phases

CMDB & Asset Management

  • Setup and maintenance of Configuration Items in Jira Assets for client infrastructures
  • Automated CI capture and synchronization from the integration server to the cloud
  • Mapping of monitoring and SIEM alerts to services and teams via the CMDB
  • Scaling: from MVP with a few hundred CIs to full operation with thousands of assets

Identity & Access Management

  • IDP connections: Keycloak, Entra ID, ADFS, or customer-specific identity providers
  • Federation and broker solutions (OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM)
  • IP-based access control in Atlassian for authorized networks

Sicherheit & Compliance

  • Contributing to security concepts (BSI-Grundschutz, ISO 27001) with protection needs assessment
  • Contributing to security documentation for ISMS tools (HiScout, verinice, ibi systems)
  • SaaS operations incl. on-premise components: patch management, monitoring, availability
  • Supporting sandbox and change management processes for Atlassian releases

🎯 Muss-Kriterien

  • ✓ Several years of experience with Jira Service Management and Jira Assets (CMDB) in enterprise environments
  • ✓ Solid knowledge in networking: VPN, firewalls, routing, proxy infrastructures — ideally also in high-security environments
  • ✓ Experience with E-Bonding / ITSM integrations between organizations via REST APIs
  • ✓ Knowledge of Identity Federation: Keycloak, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM
  • ✓ Understanding of IT security standards (BSI-Grundschutz and/or ISO 27001)
  • ✓ Experience with agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum) and ITIL V4

⭐ Soll-Kriterien

  • + Experience in the public sector or in regulated industries (finance, energy, healthcare, government)
  • + Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Proxmox) and container platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Rancher)
  • + Familiarity with logging and monitoring stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana) and SIEM integration
  • + Experience with ServiceNow, OTRS, Remedy or comparable ITSM systems on the counterpart side of integrations
  • + Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD or comparable DevOps toolchains
  • + Willingness for extended security clearance depending on the client project
